Seoul Garden @ The Mines

Assalamualaikum.

The second entry of food hunting was at Seoul Garden, The Mines with its authentic Korean-styled BBQ buffet. If you're staying at Pandan Jaya, you can ride LRT to Bandar Tasik Selatan. Then, buy a KTM's ticket to Serdang and take a bus (shutter/RapidKL) to The Mines. This is my second time eating at Seoul Garden, I'd never regret eating there because my tummy is happy! I went to Seoul Garden with my housemates; Atikah, Yeen and Alya. We're craving for steamboat at Seoul Garden since last year. Since our finance is stable for now, we've decided to go! Hahaha. The price range is okay. Once we entered the Seoul Garden, we have to tell them that we're students so that we'll get student price. I'm not sure about the price for a person but each of us spent about RM34. Total, RM133.85 including service and government tax for four of us. After that, we've to choose the soup for steamboat. Soup choices include; Thai tom yam soup, Kimchi jigae soup, Super kimchi jigae soup and Chicken soup if I'm not mistaken.

Go on to the food! I recommend you to take more grilled dishes than steamboat dishes because steamboat dishes are boring, you'll be quickly full if you eat more steamboat dishes (in my opinion :p). I've to force myself to eat more so that I feel satisfied with what I pay hahaha oh yeah you can eat as many as you can as long as your tummy have enough spaces for those delicious, tasty, mouth-watering, tempting, delectable food. We spent about two hours there. I like grilled chicken the most! There are varieties of grilled dishes such as chicken, beef, squid and prawn. Dishes for steamboat too. I prefer Seoul Garden at The Mines than Seoul Garden at JB City Square that I go before.

Korean wrap; wrap the grilled chicken/beef/anything you prefer with lettuce leaves.

Differ than Seoul Garden at JB City Square, Seoul Garden at The Mines have Sushi, kimchi fried rice, kimchi itself and others I can't even named them. Seoul Garden at The Mines served more dishes. Don't forget about the sweet course and dish, the part that I like the most (I even leave spaces of my stomach for the ice cream and air batu campur hehehe). Not forget to mention that everything is self-serving and Seoul Garden does not serve pork or alcohol on its menu. We're free to have, take and eat anything we want. However, I advise you to not wasting food. Enjoy the photos that I could take for that moment, not much but okay lah hahaha.

Mouth-watering desserts; ABC and ice cream

Bagaimana ingin menjadi Genius?

~Tips genius

Jadi saya terfikir, apa rahsia mereka?

Dahsyatnya Doa “Duduk Diantara Dua Sujud”

Ketika orang ditanya, “do’a apakah yang paling sering dibaca oleh seorang muslim?” Banyak yang menjawabnya dengan salah.

Begitu seringnya do’a itu dibaca, sehingga ketika sedang membaca do’a banyak yang tidak merasa berdo’a.

Padahal do’a itu sangat dahsyat, mencakup kperluan kita di dunia dan akhirat. Dan dibaca minimal 17 kali setiap hari.

Do’a itu adalah DO’A DIANTARA DUA SUJUD, marilah kita renungi maknanya :

√ ROBIGHFIRLII, Wahai Tuhan ampunilah dosaku.

√ WAJBURNII, Tutuplah segala kekuranganku. Banyak sekali kekurangan kita, kurang syukur, kurang sabar, kurang bisa menerima kenyataan, mudah marah, pendendam dll. Kalau kekurangan kita ditutup/diperbaiki Allah, maka kita akan menjadi manusia sebenarnya.

√ WARFA’NII, Tinggikanlah derajatku.

“Health is not everything, but without health, everything is nothing.”

Allah memerintahkan kita untuk membaca do’a itu, Rasulullah mencontohkan kepada kita, menurut logika do’a tersebut pasti terkabul. TAPI PERSOALANNYA “DIMANA HATI DAN FIKIRAN KITA KETIKA KITA MEMBACA DO’A ITU ?”

RASULULLAH MENGINGATKAN KITA BAHWA, “ALLAH TIDAK AKAN MENGABULKAN DO’A YANG KELUAR DARI HATI YANG LALAI.”

SELAMAT BERAMAL SEPANJANG TAHUN 1436/2015

Roost Juice & Bar @ Jalan Dhoby, Johor Bahru

Assalamualaikum.

I've determined myself to share and post something beneficial in 2015 onwards InshaAllah. I'll share any experiences I encounter which I think, it is interesting to be shared. So yesterday I went to Jalan Dhoby in Johor Bahru with three pretty girls, Nurul, Nadiah and Hannysa. Thanks to Hannysa for bringing us there (muahciked). This is my first time went to Jalan Dhoby after about 16 years lived in Johore. I really love the environment, it feels like a 60's era where everything is classic and retro. The buildings, the road, it is preserved and I could feel the calm there. I don't know how to express those feelings. I'm just too excited and filled with astonishment.

We are absolutely ravenous especially me and Hannysa. We didn't have our breakfast before our trip hahahaha. Thus, we've randomly chosen any cafe in Jalan Dhoby to fill our empty stomach. We searched for any cafes in Jalan Dhoby. You will find various cafes in Jalan Dhoby and most of them are nearer to each other so you can choose which and which to go. Because we are starving, we saw Roost cafe and quickly agreed to eat there. You'll be surprised once you try to open their door knob. It seems so old I swear! I hesitate to open it yet feel amazed at the same time haha.

Excuse my never-ending derp face

In front of Roost Juice and Bar

Once we step in the cafe, we sat at the seat in front of the stair and we're contained with awkwardness because the environment are so quiet (kitorang agak tak selesa masa tu tak tahu apadehal, jakun agaknya). We noticed a waiter walked down the stairs so we asked if there's more seats and tables upstairs. Oh yes, there are. We moved to upstairs and suddenly felt so young because there's old  or retro songs played (lagu zaman dulu-dulu retro gitu). But we enjoyed sitting there, it feels so cozy (sesuai sangat kalau kau nak berangan joget lagu T-ARA Roly Poly, aku taklah aku sopan ehehehehe). Differ than what we felt when we sat downstairs. This place sure be loved by fellow hipsters.

I've ordered Chicken Chop (RM13.90), Grilled Chicken Chop (RM14.90) for Hanny whereas Nadiah and Nurul ordered Mushroom Garlic Pasta (RM13.90 each). For beverages, we've ordered the Ice Chocolate (RM7.90), Ice Mocha (RM7.90), Mango Tango house juice (RM7.90)  and just a simple Sprite (RM4.90). The beverages are served in a small-looking-pail (sekali lagi kitorang jakun, excuse us). Not forget to mention that 10% service charge will be included in your order. Total up, we spent RM93.72 with joyous stomach there (happy tummy is happy!).

I don't know how long we spent our time there, maybe an hour? I would love and pleased to visit Roost Juice and Bar again. Thanks guys for the day with awesomeness! Looking forward to have an outing again hahahahaha. I had so much fun. Anyway, you guys are so cute. If you're planning to go Johor Bahru, don't forget to drop by Jalan Dhoby and explore the pre-war shop lots there, just a stone throw away from Johor Bahru City Square.

Just right after we finished our lunch, we went to Aeon Bukit Indah. I found an interesting thing to eat there. Cool Stick! I choose dark chocolate stick with vanilla flavour ice cream dipped with oreo. Just RM3, worth to try it!

At this moment baru aku sedar Johor ada tempat-tempat menarik. Jangan pandang rendah kat Johor yang kononnya membosankan hahahah ceh. Actually, there's more to be explored.

Being in a Relationship?

Assalamualaikum.

I believe that people are aware about this trend, being in a relationship or will be more relevant to be abbreviated as couple these days. I've been realizing about it, this past few days. Sometimes when I was on Instagram, I stumble upon some ex-classmates ex-schoolmates ex-friends ex-someone-I-know-before accounts and what I can say, people change. So do I. This person who was once an introvert become extrovert, this person who was less pretty before is prettier, this person who was once nothing become something I can't expect they could be. Alhamdulillah. I'm happy to see them now.

But what really bothers me is when someone uploaded or posted about their girlfriend or boyfriend and says those sweet things that I find... sometimes funny. I don't know, I've never been in that situation. I've never been in any relationship but I admit that I'd feelings for someone before. However, now is a big NO because I'd always found those feelings and being in a relationship status is unnecessary. I don't know where can I find the importance, advantages, benefits of being in a relationship. That's why I respect people who is single, they know how to be independent.

"And We created you in pairs."
(Quran 78:8)

I'm nobody to those people but I want to express some thoughts that will you and him/her last? Can you guarantee that both of you are meant to be together, grow old together? How? I'm not being sarcastic or busy body. I'm sorry. No matter how much you've tried to stay with the same person, if you weren't meant to be together, you won't be. Because Allah has created you in pairs, He has chosen and kept someone for you so that someday, that someone will protect, care and love you because of Allah. When you are in the second series of your life (almost turning 20), what you really need to think is what will make you succeed in the future, in the Dunya and hereafter. Don't worry about not having a boyfriend/girlfriend. Don't worry about not being loved by someone you really want to be with. Don't worry about all those things that have been confirmed by Allah. There's someone out there who have no idea that they will be in your life and you also, clueless about who is going to be your life partner. Think it as a surprise and present from Allah.
